Program Description

Boots and Mortar LLC ("Boots and Mortar," "we," "us," "our") offers an SMS-based authentication service for our field technician mobile application. When you log into the Boots and Mortar Tech App, we send a one-time passcode (OTP) to your registered mobile phone number to verify your identity.

Consent & Opt-In

By providing your mobile phone number and requesting a login code through the Boots and Mortar Tech App, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from Boots and Mortar for authentication and account security purposes. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your login activity. You will typically receive one (1) SMS message per login attempt. In normal usage, this is approximately 1–5 messages per week. You will never receive marketing or promotional messages.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Boots and Mortar does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Check with your wireless carrier for details on your text messaging plan.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from Boots and Mortar. If you opt out, you may need to use an alternative login method to access the Tech App.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is available on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, Cricket Wireless, Boost Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, and other supported carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. Your phone number is collected solely for the purpose of authenticating your identity when logging into the Boots and Mortar Tech App. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS data with any third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

No SMS opt-in data or consent information is shared with any third parties.

Liability

Boots and Mortar is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, or misdirected messages, including (but not limited to) undelivered messages resulting from any form of filtering applied by your wireless carrier or third-party service providers.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these SMS terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the SMS service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
